Here you can still sit in the original wooden seats of the Johnny Haynes Stand dating back one hundred years and can see the original Craven Cottage itself. Once the players' changing rooms, this quaint old throwback really connects you with the history of this most friendly of London clubs.
After years of planning to move from this historic site next to the River Thames, it looks as if, for a few years at least, Fulham will be staying put and, for many fans, this is almost as good news as qualifying for Europe was last season.
Don't worry, though – it's not all antique. 2009/10 saw the opening of the new McBrides Pub – named after the American striker who was twice Fulham's player of the year in recent years.
And as for the team, their recent successes have pretty well dumbfounded media pundits. Come to the Cottage and see if they'll do the same this season.
