The stadium currently holds 76,000 people and has changed almost beyond recognition in the past few years and is now equal to anything in world football. Visitors can spend hours just wandering around the perimeter, taking in the statues of Sir Matt Busby, Denis Law, George Best and Bobby Charlton; the commemorative Munich Tunnel; the enormous Megastore and, of course, the famous Manchester United Museum. This really is the Theatre of Dreams.

Once inside the ground, the dream continues – comfortable seats, plenty of legroom, first class food and drink; it can feel as much like a theatre as a football ground. Once the game begins, however, and the Old Trafford roar starts to generate, you'll be under no illusions – this is a football stadium supreme. With Manchester United determined to put yet another Premier League title into their incredible record book this coming season, Old Trafford remains the pinnacle of English football watching experiences.
