History Stadium

Old Trafford is the largest Premiership football stadium in England and has a capacity of 76,000 generating an electric atmosphere on match day. Should development of the South Stand take place capacity will increase to 95,000. The stadium is immediately recognizable with it’s cantilever East Stand Stadium and is a mecca for football fans from all over the world. Nicknamed the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ the stadium has seen some memorable sights over the years.

The stadium is currently being increased to a capacity of 76,000 by providing seating in two corners and the long term plans are to redevelop the South stand, currently restricted by a residential zone, to match the North stand, thereby increase the capacity to 96,000.
