Tottenham Hotspur club history

Tottenham Hotspur FC, known as ‘Spurs’, was formed in 1882 and moved to it’s present location at White Hart Lane in 1899. The club has a fierce rivalry with close neighbours Arsenal FC.
Spurs has won the top division of English football on two occasions, most notably in 1960/61 when the club won the elusive double by clinching the FA Cup in the same season. The FA Cup has been won a total of 8 times, and the club is the current holders of the League Cup beating Chelsea FC in a thrilling match at the new Wembley Stadium in February 2008.

After many changes of managers in recent years the club now has Harry Redknapp in charge and the club will be hoping that they will be challenging for honours again soon.
